1.5 liter magnum - Limited AvailabilityRetail Price: $195 | Wine Club Price: $175.50 About Purchasing Boeschen Vineyards Wine... Carrera 2010 is a special wine to the Boeschen Vineyards family. It marks the fifth release of this blend, and is the first time we were able to combine all the estate-grown Bordeaux varietals into one bottle. The blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 20% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec, and 1% Cabernet Franc reflects the increased concentration of the 2010 vintage. This wine also highlights the depth and complexity that are possible when multiple estate wines can be blended together. The tannins are, as always, round and soft, promoting a balance and soft mouthfeel that make the 2010 Carrera a delight to share with or without food. 2010 is also the first time we bottled the Carrera in 1.5-liter magnums. There are very few (only 48 produced), so request an allocation if you're one of the Wine Club members who particularly appreciate the wine and/or the racing image on the bottle (it looks cool on the larger bottle!).
