Due for release in the Fall of 2010, the 2007 Carrera Estate Blend is the second Bordeaux-style blend produced by Boeschen Vineyards.  100% of the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc grapes come from the seven-acre estate vineyard in St. Helena.  The wine is being given extended aging time in bottle, already producing a closely integrated and approachable red wine that will be ready to drink upon release. 

In the glass, the Carrera is showing layered aromas of mocha, sage and blueberries.  The wine is extremely soft, while still demonstrating the strength and balance that comes with the fantastic 2007 vintage.  The finish is long and lingering, with light acidity and very faint hints of oak.  Carrera ’07 is a delicious and charming wine made for sharing immediately with friends and family.  With fewer than 70 cases produced, supply is extremely limited.
