Dann and Susan Boeschen

Dann and Susan met while attending Stanford University before moving to Issaquah, Washington to raise their two children. They like to say they "flunked retirement" when they purchased the Boeschen Vineyards estate in St. Helena in 1999. Dann is now devoted to many hobbies, including vintage cars and woodworking, while Susan, a Master Gardener, is involved in the community and manages the estate gardens. Both Dann and Susan enjoy traveling and spending time with their five energetic grandchildren.

Doug Boeschen

Doug attended Stanford University and worked for several years as a management consultant before returning to school at UC Davis to study viticulture and enology. He has lived in several countries overseas, including Spain, Germany, France, Poland and Romania, but is happiest at home here in St. Helena with his wife, Deborah, and two sons, Sam and Henry.

Doug’s first introduction to the wine industry came through working with a vineyard management company, M & L Vineyard Management, in Napa Valley. There he discovered a love for working with vines and learned many of the principles that now guide his farming at Boeschen Vineyards. His winemaking experience has come at many wonderful wineries, including Sequoia Grove, Spottswoode, and Chateau Mercier, in Bordeaux, France.

Alejandro Baltazar

Born in the city of Zamora, Mexico, Alejandro came to this country in 1986 in pursuit of his dream of a better life for himself and his family. He says he discovered vineyard work was his life's passion after his first day in the fields, more than 30 years ago. When not working, Alejandro enjoys hiking, hunting, NASCAR racing, and spending time with his wife, Ana, and three daughters. He has been part of the Boeschen Vineyards team since 2011.

Marcos Flores

Marcos came to the United States from the Mexican state of Jalisco in 2006. He is a hard-working, easy-going young man who has earned the nickname "Hercules el Sabio" for his physical strength and quiet wisdom. Marcos spends much of his free time with extended family, loves to cook, and enjoys traveling to hunt and fish when he has the opportunity. Boeschen Vineyards is lucky to have him on the team.

Shaina Harding

Shaina has been making wine in the Napa Valley since 2008. She is a graduate of the UC Davis Enology and Viticulture program, and has been very fortunate to have worked with some of the valley's most storied and creative winemakers. Her love of winemaking knows no bounds! When Shaina is not watching over her wine in the cellar she likes going on adventures with her husband and son, exploring other wine regions, and spending time with friends and family.
